A beautiful city nestled on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by the best weather, beaches, shopping…and of course food! These new additions to Boynton Beach are sure to make your mouth water and your stomach crave:

  1. Papaseatos

Coming soon to the Boynton Beach area is Papaseatos. This Mexican food truck with a Florida twist comes from the creators of local favorite Papa’s Raw Bar. The food truck is schedule to make regular appearances at a number of favorite breweries from Palm Beach to Broward County. A rotating weekly schedule is already in the works to include stops at Copperpoint Brewing Co. in Boynton Beach, Saltwater Brewing Co. in Delray Beach, 26 Degree Brewing Co. in Pompano Beach, and Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park. Down the road, the Papaseatos restaurant will go one step further with a full tequila bar with weekly margarita Monday and taco Tuesday specials.

  1. Pigsty BBQ

The newly-opened Pigsty in Boynton Beach, where a barbecue chef with Kansas City roots is preparing a number of regionally-inspired, iconic barbecue sandwiches. The cozy eatery specializes in a variety of smoked meats prepared by pit master Bryan Tyrell, formerly of Smoke BBQ in Delray Beach, who won the title of “best ribs” in our 2015 annual Best Of issue. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, and offers a casual space for quick-serve barbecue. The menu covers all the barbecue essentials from a slow-cooked pulled pork smoked for 14-hours to Kansas City-style burnt ends (the ends of the brisket) to gigantic beef ribs and pork ribs by the slab.

  1. Josie’s Ristorante

I know you wouldn’t expect this Boynton Beach staple of 22 years to appear on this list but Josie’s has something special cooking up these days. Or should we say, someone? Mark Militello, a James Beard Award-winning chef, often credited for bringing contemporary American cuisine accented with Asian and Caribbean influences, tropical fruit, and local seafood to Miami, has officially taken over the Italian kitchen and is bringing new flavor to Josie’s. After several years of consultation from Miami to the Hamptons in New York, Militello says he has transitioned to a full-time position at Josie’s, helping to transform this once-hidden Palm Beach County Italian eatery into a destination dining location.
