Sitting pretty on the Gold Coast, Boynton Beach is much more than sand, surf, and sun. The Palm Beaches’ third-largest city offers an array of activities for everyone. Try these 5 local favorites when you take a day off from the beach!

Mangrove Park– If you’re in the mood to check out some beautiful scenery and see an abundance of wildlife, Mangrove Park is the place for you.  This 12 acre scenic park borders the Intracoastal Waterway and is connected by three tidal inlets, which makes it the perfect place to spot a variety of animals including: birds, raccoons and manatees.

Craft Breweries & Tastings –Discover Due South Brewing Company, the newest nano brews of Devour Brewing Co. and the most recent addition, Copperpoint Brewing Co. Keep an eye out for two more breweries on the horizon: Odd Breed Wild Ales and Driftwood Ales. For more than 300 craft beers from around the world in one location visit Brass Tap Beer Bar.

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge – Explore this northern portion of the Everglades and paddle on a “river of grass” through native sawgrass marsh. Join a ranger-led guided tour to learn about a few of the 250 birds, endothermic mammals and amphibians that inhabit the area, including a few of the threatened species, such as the American Alligator and Wood Stork.

Verde Classics Car Museum – Cruise back in time through this vast collection of automobiles, all dated from the 1950’s through the 1970’s. The Verde Classics Car Museum showcases collectible autos, mopeds, bicycles and more, all which tell the story of technological variation and progress throughout the years.

Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market – Get your health on at the Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market in Boynton Beach.  The market brings a variety of locally grown produce that is tasty, yet affordable.
